Open call for artists: Ithaka
Ithaka is an annual arts festival for and by students in Leuven. The festival provides a platform for promising young artists to exhibit their projects. The 32nd edition of the festival will take place from February 26 to March 3, 2024 and this year's theme is "myths".
HOW TO ANSWER THE CALL?
You can join in with any art discipline, including visual arts, audio(visual) arts, performance arts, textiles... All you need to send is an e-mail to Ithaka@loko.be with your idea for the project, CV, portfolio and contact details. The deadline for this is December 5 2023. Good luck!

How do you get elected* within LOKO? You’ll have to prepare a set of ten questions that you can find on our website. You can ask us for help with the preparation. 2 of those 10 questions you will have to answer in front of the Algemene Vergadering (AV, General Assembly). Those AV’s take place every two weeks on Friday night at 9 pm in the centre of Leuven. On your election, you’ll have to introduce yourself shortly and answer 2 of the 10 questions. Members of the student unions could ask you a little extra question if they haven’t fully understood your answer. Afterwards, they will vote and we can (hopefully) welcome you within LOKO!
