Movies @ Lokation is back! In the theme "Far From Home" LOKO presents two cult classics in an atmospheric environment: "Whiplash" on 26/11 and "Lost in Translation" on 3/12. All that, free of charge!

Whiplash is an American film from 2014 by Damien Chazelle. The story revolves around about Andrew, an aspiring drummer. His mentor wants to force his breakthrough, whatever it takes.
The setting of this movie is the Couvreur Zaal, an old-fashioned and cosy room above the renovated wing of the Agora, the old pharmaceutical institute of the KU Leuven. Couvreur was a collector, with a large collection of old scales, pots and jacks that are now on display in the old restored pharmacy cupboards. An atmospheric environment for such a cult film!
On December 3rd you will also be able to enjoy "Lost in Translation" in the Anatomical Amphitheatre in the Minderbroedersstraat.
